Nature’s pattern inspires the roads we walk in today. We see these patterns in maps as well as in ourselves. We create moments, patterns of events that mark a significant incident. It’s these little marks we hold dear in our heart and what we live to remember throughout life.
The open flower with the map is symbolic of an event, of a new beginning. It would make a perfect gift to remember a special moment in a beautiful place, such as an engagement or wedding gift.

The Process
Pay price of custom commission and shipping ($25), which will be a PayPal link below

Orientation of painting (horizontal or vertical)
City you’d like painted
Flower (rose, peony, sunflower, etc.) The center of the flower will be the map.
Provide other thoughts on what you are hoping from your commission. Is there a special moment that happened in this particular place you want to share.
Colors you love: preferably 2-3 colors
Color you prefer of road/lines on the map (silver, gold, or white)
Indicate if this piece can be shown on Instagram through the process
Once payment and email is received, painting is started. Allow 1-2 weeks for completion.
Laerta emails update photos halfway through. When painting is complete, Laerta will send a final photo, and collector gives approval or minor edits. Any extensive edits beyond that are subject to a 15% additional fee.
