I had the opportunity to visit St. John with my friends and what a magical place it was. We took the charter boat everywhere even to the British side of the islands. The weather, the palm trees, the beach, the sand was beyond words. It was such a chill atmosphere and the people were incredibly sweet and nice. No wonder people that visit there sometimes just never end up going home.

Wile I did lots of sightseeing, hiking and sunset catching, one place that really left an impression was Trunk Bay. If you haven't been, better add that to your bucket list. it’s one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. There is a little pathway you walk through covered in greenery and in the distant you see the ocean. As you walk a little further and a little longer, there it is. I have never seen water so vibrant, so bright turquoise blue. As soon as I stepped my toes on that hot sand and looked at the view, I thought I entered paradise. Seemed like time stood still and I sure love catching moments like these. They are hard to come by.

Of course, you know I had to paint it. How can I not indulge in that moment a little longer? And the only way I can share that with people is by painting it. I can talk about a place and show you photos but the most lasting impression is in my paintings. That is magic to me at least.
